🌟 Staff Spotlight: Heather Baker 🌟

Meet Heather Baker, a Case Manager with our LEAD department! Heather joined the Partnership back in December, and she spends her days walking alongside clients who are navigating mental health challenges, helping them connect to the support and resources they need.

If you ask Heather what she loves most about the work and she will tell you it is helping people get back on track and regain control of their lives. 💙

Outside of work, Heather is married and a proud mom to two daughters, ages 22 and 18. She is also the very devoted dog mom to three French Bulldogs. If you do not believe us, just stop by her office to see all of their pictures🐾 When she is not with family, you can usually find her crafting.

We are so glad you are part of the team, Heather! 🎉

Proud moment for our team. Cheri and Paula were honored at the United Way of San Juan County awards luncheon last week. Both of them show up for this community every single day, and it means a lot to see that recognized. Congratulations to you both. We are lucky to work alongside you. 💛

Meet Jeannie Wright, LSW. - SJCP's L.E.A.D. Program Director! 💙

Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion (LEAD) is a community-based approach that redirects individuals involved in low-level offenses away from the criminal justice system and toward community-based support and services. It is one of the most compassionate and evidence-based models in the country for addressing the root causes of crime, and Jeannie leads it right here in San Juan County.

With three years at SJCP, a Licensed Social Worker credential, and a background as a therapist, Jeannie brings a rare and powerful combination of clinical expertise and community-based advocacy to this work. She walks alongside individuals at some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives and helps connect them to the resources, care, and community they need to move forward. That takes skill. That takes heart. Jeannie has both.

We are so grateful for you, Jeannie. San Juan County is better because you show up every day. 💙
