We are happy to share an update on Sonny! He is finally home! 🧡
After sixteen months in the hospital, this brave little boy is back where he belongs.
Sonny was born on November 1, 2024, and diagnosed with a rare liver disease at just two months old. After surgery led to a serious infection, he spent months at UNM Hospital on IV antibiotics. His journey then took him to Children's Hospital in Colorado, where he received a life-saving liver transplant on January 15.
Today, Sonny is playing, growing, and living like a normal little boy. His recovery will continue for several years with regular hospital visits, but the hardest part is over.
None of this would have been possible without you. To everyone who supported Sonny and his family through fear and uncertainty, thank you. Your generosity helped bring him home.
