As the winter formal season approaches, we are in need of updated styles for the shop. We have tax receipts for all donations and can take them at the shop on Thursdays from 12:30-6:30pm or Saturdays from 10am-6pm.

If you are unable to drop at the shop, we have our Pittsford drop off location you can pm us for the address. Dirty, stained or damaged items cannot be taken. Thank you so much all! We couldn’t do this without our community 🩵

Donation drop off days are the best days! We get hundreds of items in our Fancy Frock Closet donated weekly that we either save for our Miss Worth More Nation extravaganza pageant; sell at the shop or on Poshmark deeply discounted to fund our programs and financially support the shop; give to our Miss WMN queens and their families; or give to our community partners. Today we dropped items to Mrs. Sylvia Cooksey at School 53 in Rochester. She then distributes through her own community clothing closet organized by the church she pastors; School 45; and the Boys and Girls Club. Sylvia and her team interact with many students and at risk youth in our community, and will be bringing a group of girls to the Miss WMN Pageant next summer. We are getting sign ups already yay! We also dropped a huge bundle to our mama Annie we posted about previously. Thank you to everyone who responded. ❤️
We are collecting dresses and gowns now for the holidays and winter formals, as well as prom! Plus sizes are always needed and appreciated, as well!

Annie is the primary caretaker and guardian of many kids in her home including now —- her granddaughter, goddaughter and three biological kids, all pictured here. She has three kids under the age of four, a pr***en and a teen!! She is a single mama and works very hard to provide. We helped Annie with some baby items and clothing when her granddaughter - age 1 and wearing the red dress above - unexpectedly came to live with her full time this past summer. Soon thereafter her goddaughter - age 3 and wearing the pastel pink dress - also came to live with her. She needs winter clothes for her granddaughter who is now in size 2t. She works very hard getting these kids to school and activities including our pageant, which is no easy feat given her available resources and doing it alone. This past pageant, when all was said and done after mountains and mountains of work, I (founding director Sandy Arena) sat outside the pageant venue on a wooden bench holding the baby and saying goodbye to everyone. ((My son Caleb held her during the pageant to give mom a hand.)) I had nothing left to give and could barely form words. Truly overwhelmed. I really just wanted to cry from the high emotion and energy from the day and preparation months leading up to the pageant. Holding Mia was perfect for me at that time, and she was such a comfort to me because she is so cuddly, and so sweet. Annie sent her teen daughter Nivie to get her when it was time for them to leave, and I was reluctant to let her go lol. I really want to help this mama, this family, and this precious baby girl have some warm clothes this winter. If you have some practical kid clothing items - that are clean and in good condition in size 2t appropriate for cold weather — please consider donating to the Fancy Frock in Churchville. I’m there Thursdays from 12:30 to 6:30 and Saturdays from 10 to 6 pm. We are a 501c3 charity and all donations are tax deductible. Thanks for your consideration. You all have been so kind and generous including donating the beautiful dresses these queens are wearing in the pictures here during our red carpet photo shoot at the 2026 WMN Pageant!

Screaming a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to our National Ambassador Christi and her new husband Matt! These two were married on August 15th of this year and we are so excited for them both! We love you two and hope you had the best wedding day!

Yes!! Save the date!!! Help us keep the Fancy Frock Closet open during our slow season so we can keep serving the public! This is going to be an amazing night with food, live music and raffle baskets! Our wonderful event organizer Sherrie Welch is a longtime supporter of Worth More Nation and is passionate about helping girls and women reach their full potential. Every year she organizes this event and every year it gets bigger and better! We are so grateful because all of our programs and empowerment events run out of the Fancy Frock Closet and we need to get that rent paid! We are a volunteer run organization and every donation helps! Reach out to donate a raffle basket, and as always thank you for your support!

“I’m not broken. I’m bruised.” —Angelika
If you want to fully understand the power of our program and the transforming opportunities offered for our girls and ladies to find their voices and to be heard and celebrated, watch this short speech by one of our national ambassadors - Angelika. We offer our participants the chance to participate in spokesmodel at the Miss WMN pageant, and it is one of our favorite times during the program where our queens share bits of their stories in front of a live audience. Thank you for being brave and vulnerable Angelika. We are proud of you.
