Thank you to everyone who came out to the 42nd annual Midwest Mopars in the Park National Car Show and Swap Meet this last weekend. We had some fantastic cars show up, amazing sponsors, swappers, and of course Catherine Bach, Tom Wopat, Miss Direct Connection, and Paul Rossi.
I also want to recognize all the amazing volunteers who make the show possible, there would be no show without you, and that cannot be overstated.
And I also want to call out just what an amazing partner the Dakota County Fairgrounds has been, there is absolutely no way the show could have happened without them and their amazing facility. The behind the scenes work they do to make our show possible is off the charts, and trust me, they are working hard to keep up with our requests to water roads for dust control, keep bathrooms stocked, move things, unlock things, and manage the camping and many more things that I am not mentioning and probably don't even know about.
Usually I get bombarded with questions about wanting to know what cars won. We do post a winners list in our monthly club newsletter, it will appear in the July edition, but we do not post it online or on social media because we believe in protecting the privacy of our participants, and we ask that everyone respect that.
We are already working on themes and cars for next years show, but for now... a little rest and time to enjoy summer.
