We are in need of sponsors/donations to make sure our Families receive some Christmas joy this year! If you are able to help, please do! You can also sponsor a child/family by “adopting” their wish list. Let me know if you are interested and I will be more than happy to get it set up! Please share our post as well. Help us bring some light and Christmas cheer to our families!

Santa will be on his way before you know it!

Good Shepherd helps nearly 300 families fill their stockings each year with much-needed items and holiday cheer. Give our parents hope and empowerment this holiday season with the gift of being able to purchase the right gift for their children during this joyous time.

From now until December 24th, you can make a gift on our website in $25 increments, which we will use to purchase gift cards to stores like Schnucks, Aldi, SaveALot, QT, Wal-Mart, and Target.

Follow our link, goodshepherdstl.org/donations, to donate or mail your gift cards directly to Good Shepherd, Attn: Caroline Livingstone! Contact Caroline Livingstone for more details via email, [email protected], or by phone, 314-854-5700.

It's almost time for "April Showers," and Good Shepherd is hosting a BIG virtual baby shower for the mothers and babies we serve in our maternity shelter, foster care program, and through our pregnancy & parenting program.

We have multiple ways you can show your love for our smallest clients: by visiting our Target registry, dropping off gift cards, or making a donation on our website.

Click the registry link below to visit the Target list of items most commonly needed by our families:
https://www.target.com/gift-registry/gift/gsaprilshowers2024

You can also give our parents hope and empowerment by allowing them to buy extra groceries or spend their budgeted money on just the right gift for their children at this joyous time by providing gift cards to their most frequently shopped locations: Schnucks, Aldi, SaveALot, QT, Wal-Mart, and Target. These gift cards can be sent directly to Caroline Livingstone at Good Shepherd.

Or, you can donate in $25 increments, which we'll use to purchase the gift cards on your behalf at www.goodshepherdstl.org/donations.

Contact Caroline Livingstone for all the details at [email protected] or 314-854-5706.

Why not help a child in Foster Care? You can become a foster parent or support foster families by donating or joining a service team💙

🔹There are 14,000 children in Missouri foster care.
🔹Only 48% of children who enter foster care are expected to be successfully reunited with their biological family.
🔹The average age of foster children is 9 years old.
🔹The average time in foster care before reunification or another form of permanency is 28 months.
🔹14% of foster children without permanent family become homeless adults.
🔹18-26% of foster children without permanent families end up in the prison system.

These numbers are important because each one of them represents a real life child from a real life family and you can help bridge the gap for these children. You can become a foster parent, or help support foster families. Please reach out to Stephanie at [email protected] or 314-854-5716 for more information about how you, your church family, community group or workplace can help!
