UPDATE ON NAVAJO NATION HARDSHIP ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

Update from the KNDN Radio Announcement this morning from Delegates Eugenia Charles-Newton and Vince James. Madame Controller Perline Kirk was also on the radio. Please note that the Navajo Nation Controller's Office will be calling people from the 1-833-282-7248 phone number to validate some information.
They will be verifying:
Spelling of your name
DOB
Census Number
last four digits of your Social Security Number
Mailing address to make sure where the check will be sent
they may also be calling to verify those you included on your application (secondary applicants)
They won't be asking for your full Social Security Number.
The Controller did say they will be busy all this month verifying information and the checks won't be dispersed until the end of December and early January 2021.
