It's that time of year again and Shining star Christmas is in full speed ahead mode,todays project is to turn these families gifts into wrapped gifts and into a bag so they will hit the road tomarrow

Shining star is hosting a benefit dinner on July 20th for Amy Messer,She has been trying to get back on her feet from her cancer illness and we would like to raise her some money to help her out,It will be at the Franklin Masonic hall right on rt.2 in Newsharon right before Pitcher tire,We will have a silent auction as well,Come out and show your support for Amy and Thomas and see what we can do to help,The meal will be a smoked tenderloin dinner,It will start at noontime with the silent auction happening about half way thru it

It's that time of year again,Shining star and The Franklin Lodge 123 are coming together to host a Easter egg hunt,It will be April 20th at 9 am at the Franklin Masonic Building 46 Mercer road Newsharon,Bring the kids out,There will be a few eggs with a paper in them and you will need to bring them up and see what you have won for a price,The chocolate bunny is one of those prizes

We held the benefit for Dylan who was diagnosed with stage 4 limphomia and we all came together and raised him 35 hundred dollars in 2 an a half hours,We slung 55 pounds of spaghetti and I used up 4 pots of sauce,But we did what we setup to do,I chatted with his grand father and he was beyond pleased with the outcome,It was a great day to be in Newsharon and see what we did,People came out and gave so he can focus on getting better,It's great to see something come together and go out so smoothly thanks to all that helped put this together,Without your help we wouldn't have been able to pull off such a great day in da office,Well now it's time to relax
