We are so excited to announce Farmington's FIRST EVER pride festival, Pride in the Park!

Mark your calendar for Farmington Area Progressive Alliance's Pride in the Park on June 29th from 2 PM to 5 PM.

The Farmington Area Progressive Alliance is proud to bring Pride to Farmington for the first time-- we are here for and united with our q***r community.

Farmington has never had a city-wide Pride before, and we are honored to launch this much-needed celebration in Shiawassee Park! Stay tuned to our social media for event details, exciting activities, and an incredible lineup of vendors and performers.

Please send these two emails to stop catastrophic cuts to foreign aid and protect SNAP - the food stamp program, Medicaid, government programs and grants.

The President has put a 90 day freeze on all foreign assistance. He also fired the top 50 leaders of our U.S. Agency for International Development. The original memo that was sent out to all the NGOs - Non-Governmental Organizations around the world, told them USAID was no longer paying for any of their health workers/independent contractors in these countries around the world. Most of the independent contractors have already left. They were also told that they could not even use the prescription drugs that they already had on the shelves. So all life-saving programs have stopped. If you haven't already, please take the action to stop the foreign aid freeze. That is the first Take Action. Fill out your name and address and click on send, it will be sent to your U.S. Representative and Senators.

There is a second action that you can take to protect SNAP - the food stamp program, Medicaid, government programs and grants. If you haven't already, please take the second Take Action which is entitled "Congress: Reject Cuts to SNAP and Medicaid". Please add one sentence at the end of the first paragraph to say: I am deeply concerned about the President's cuts to government programs and grants. (If Sen Slotkin's email comes back asking for a subject, please add Health for the Subject.)
