URGENT - Senior Party Info
We are looking forward to hosting the Class of 2022 graduates at the All-Night Graduation Party this coming Friday 6/3!
To make this night a success, we need parent/adult volunteers. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/70a054faaad2eab9-2022
During the registration process, you should have signed a liability waiver. If your student’s name is on the attached list, you still need to complete the Party Waiver. https://fhs-senior-class-of-2022-party-registration-donation-site.square.site/?fbclid=IwAR2OKpyal56d8oOfh_gf5xU5VfTkttewBZhdCz1Vv9xTaI2JBc2LzHICQLU Please do so today.
The timeline for the evening Is tight, however the students should have a short amount of time to go home and change clothes before heading over to the beginning of the party. We are told the graduation ceremony will only last an hour at the high school.
Agenda:
9:15pm – Students should arrive at Bethel’s Rock Church (6300 212th St W, Farmington, MN). This is where we will start the party with a hypnotist, Culver’s ice cream, a group picture, and complete the waiver from whirlyball. Students can be dropped off at the church or they can leave their cars in the parking lot and retrieve them in the am.
11pm – Students board the buses to get to Whirlyball in Bloomington.
11:30pm – Students arrive at Whirlyball for a fun night of laser tag, bowling, whirlyball, casino games, bingo, yard games, music, chatting with friends, caricatures, henna tattoos, a late dinner, breakfast and more. (Allergen-free foods will be available for those students that need them)
4:30am – Students board the buses at Whirlyball to head back to Bethel’s Rock.
4:45 – 5:15am – Students arrive at Bethel’s Rock to retrieve their cars or for parent pick-up. Any prizes won that were not claimed at the event can be picked up at this time. There will be parent volunteers in the parking lot to hand them out.
This event has been organized to allow students to have a memorable graduation night in a safe, substance free environment. To make sure that this goal is accomplished we have some rules that will need to be followed
• Students are NOT allowed to drive to WhirlyBall. They must take the buses to and from Bethel’s Rock.
• No bags (including purses, backpacks, and f***y packs) will be allowed in Bethel’s Rock or Whirlyball, much like at sporting events. So please plan attire accordingly to include pockets for keys or use a lanyard for them. Female products will be available at no charge in the women’s restrooms.
• Students will not be allowed to leave either venue early, unless a parent form has been completed AND the student is picked up by the parent (Parent IDs will be checked). This is only allowed in very few circumstances (i.e. Baseball/Track teams)
• Absolutely no illegal activities at the event. Chaperones/Whirlyball staff will not hesitate to call parents and/or police.
• Both facilities have a no smoking/no va**ng environment.
• Volunteers have the right to turn students away from entry into the event if they are under the influence of drugs or alcohol or being unruley.
• Remember, you are representing Farmington High School and the Community of Farmington. Please show respect to the facilities we are using, the staff, parent volunteers and each other.
Congratulations to the graduates and have a great time making memories!
