Middle school and high school families are invited to join Rashell Bowerman from Michigan Department of Education on October 9 to learn more about a valuable tool that can help students earn their diploma.

The Personal Curriculum option allows for certain modifications to the Michigan's high school graduation requirements.

School teams can use a student’s Educational Development Plan, Individualized Education Program, and Transition Plan to individualize their course of study based on the student’s post-school plans. Personal Curriculum is tool that offers another pathway to a high school diploma.

On Monday, we celebrated our PTA founders with a dinner and awards ceremony. It was a wonderful night of lifting up those who serve the children in our community. A special thank you to all our guest speakers: superintendent of FPS, Dr. Kelly Coffin, president of Michigan PTA, Tonya Whitehead, and the Lt. Governor of Michigan, Garlin Gilchrist II.
