We are in search of FOSTERS 🏡
As we go into fall/winter, plus baby season in racing, the number of horses retiring/looking for homes spikes significantly.

We cover the horse’s routine medical bills like vaccines and coggins.
Fosters get reduced adoption fees if it turns into a foster failure 😆❤️
And the foster gets commission on adoption fees for placing a horse!

Please PM the page if you’d like to be a foster for Trot Trot Standardbreds 🩵

Available for : Trot Trot alumni CAPTAINS PLACE

Captain is a 8yr old, 16.2hh gelding who is an easygoing, delightful boy to ride and spend time with ❤️ He would make a fabulous dressage prospect because of his fancy movement, but he also THRIVES as a trail horse! He is confident on or off property, not buddy sour or spooky, and is a great leader.
He is pacing bred but has an absolutely gorgeous trot, and goes long and low when ridden correctly—he could easily be mistaken for a fancy warmblood 👀 he can canter too! But it’s been awhile since he’s been asked to do that, so he’s probably a bit rusty at the canter. He is super willing to learn, is smart, and always aims to please. This boy LOVES to be praised and know he’s doing a good job 😆
Rides in both English and western tack, ba****ck in a halter, and his current adopter’s nonhorsey husband can ride him around no problem too. He is just a good solid horse you can enjoy anything with 😊

Captain is used to living out on pasture board with a shed, but he can be stalled fine too. He’s a really go-with-the-flow kind of guy.

Barefoot and relatively an easy keeper.
He did break his coffin bone during his racing years so no heavy high level jumping for him, but he should be fine doing low level jumps with front shoes on at a minimum.

Check out JETSTEAM LADYARYA being piloted around by some kids today! 🥹🩷 Lady is such a saint of a horse. She jumped everything the kids put in front of her, even at some wacky angles 😂 And check out that canter 😍 her first real canter under saddle was with a kid riding her! This horse has never said “no” to what has been asked of her. So willing to do well and please!! A genuinely good mare. No sass or attitude.
She’s so chill, quiet, kind, and forgiving. She would make a lovely hunter pleasure prospect for at least an intermediate rider. If you can confidently steer and post a trot, you can ride this horse 😆 she’s an easygoing girl all around.

PLEASURE SHOW PROSPECT: JETSTREAM LADYARYA 💖 “Lady” is such a pleasant, quiet ride. Her trot is genuinely the most comfortable standardbred trot I’ve ever ridden, it’s so nice to sit! She is rather uncomplicated and never fusses about anything. A very willing and good-natured horse. She’s shown me absolutely zero sass and instead just always wants to please and do well. Lady would do best with an intermediate rider who gave give clear cues and guidance. She is a very kind, sweet, and honest horse—she will ride exactly how you tell her to ride.
Truly a nice girl to everyone. She gets along with both mares and geldings, is unproblematic, and is so well behaved. I don’t even need to tie her to groom and tack up, she has an excellent ground tie. Just a real classy Lady looking for her person 🩷

“Lady” is truly such a pleasant horse to ride. She has a comfortable trot and will go whatever speed you tell her to, and will do exactly what you ask her to do. Truly such a good girl and pleasurable horse to ride!! She is very honest, patient, and kind, and appreciates a quieter rider who can give clear cues. She hasn’t said “no” to anything I’ve introduced to her. Happy to trot around all day and pop over little jumps. We’ve also started working on cantering and she tries so hard and is so willing! She is also very polite on the ground, genuine ladylike manners. All she wants is to please and be loved on 🩷 such a lovely lovely Lady 🩷
