Good morning Farmersville Rotarians!
On this cold and wintry weather Tuesday, what better place to gather for warm food and even warmer, welcoming conversation than the O.E. Carlisle Civic Center as we welcome Ms Dana Riley, Donor Relations Manager of The Samaritan Inn.
Since its’ modest but dedicated beginnings in 1984 - as a 10-bed single men’s homeless shelter - to one of the largest shelters today for upto 226 of our unhoused neighbors in North Texas, The Samaritan Inn aptly serves single men, women, and families.
The four pillars of case management, counseling, career development, and financial literacy serve as The Samaritan Inn’s foundational approach in offering residents tailored guidance, emotional support, career planning, and financial education. And its’ values of HOPE, HEART, OPPORTUNITY, PERSEVERENCE and ENGAGEMENT set the tone for all interactions and collaborations.
Come on out today - you won’t want to miss this!
