Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a group of parents and teachers that work together for the benefit of the school and the students. Our fundraising efforts through the year help off set the cost of items that are needed in addition to essential classroom items students currently have. Our yearly fundraising and group events have helped purchase numerous items over the past few years. Some of t

he those include, extra classroom supplies, Promethean boards(Interactive white boards) for the classrooms, staff luncheons, Teacher Appreciation Week events, STAAR Test Day snacks, and Character Educations Assemblies just to name a few. Money raised each year is used to support the students and staff at Tatum Elementary and Farmersville Intermediate Schools. What is involved as a Parent Volunteer?
* Dessert or snack requests for teacher luncheons and classroom parties.
* Volunteer during Spring Field day at our concessions at each campus.
* Room Parent of your child's classroom. (Coordinate with your child's teacher during school year in helping with classroom parties and events with other parents)
