We had the privilege of presenting the 2026 Mirabeau B. Lamar Award and Scholarship to Mr. Kevin Flores, a graduate of R. L. Turner High School. Mr. Flores has demonstrated outstanding leadership, character, and service throughout his time at R. L. Turner and came highly recommended by his coaches and teachers.
Mr. Flores will be attending the University of Texas at Arlington, where he plans to pursue a career in healthcare. We were honored to present him with a $3,250 scholarship to assist him as he begins this next chapter in his academic journey.

On this Memorial Day, James A. Smith Masonic Lodge No. 395 remembers those who laid down their lives in defense of our nation and the freedoms we cherish.
Their courage calls us to gratitude. Their sacrifice calls us to service. Their memory calls us to live with honor, faith, and brotherhood.

We had the privilege of presenting the Grand Lodge of Texas Community Builder Award to Ms. Debbi Hull in recognition of her outstanding service and dedication to the City of Farmers Branch.

We were also honored to have our Mayor, the Honorable Terry Lynne, in attendance to recognize the many contributions Ms. Hull has made to our community. Her commitment to serving others truly reflects the spirit of this prestigious award.

An incredible evening on April 20 as the Knights of Mecca raised a Master Mason at our lodge.
