Our hearts đź’› are full after an incredible Back to School Resource Event with Mercy Street Dallas. Because of an amazing community coming together, 400 students are heading back to school feeling supported, encouraged, and prepared.

To Mercy Street Dallas, our generous donors, community partners, and every volunteer—thank you. Your generosity, time, and servant hearts made this day possible. From stuffing backpacks and serving families to sharing resources and spreading joy, every act of kindness made a difference.

A special thank you to Park Place Dealerships Dallas, RBFCU, American Bank of Commerce, Whole Foods Market, Semones Family YMCA, Credit Union of Texas, Project Starting Line, Washful Hands, Hero Cops and Kids, Urban Specialists, and all of our incredible community partners for investing in our families and making this event a success.

Hosted by FRESHQUE FOUNDATION and Mercy Street, this event supports students ages 5-14 (Pre-K to 8th Grade) living in the West Dallas and South Dallas community. West Dallas and South Dallas residents, along with their immediate family members and extended family/kin, are welcome to attend and enjoy the day’s activities. We hope to see you there!

As we reflect on an incredible last school year and prepare for summer to come to a close, we wanted to take a moment to reintroduce who we are, what we do, and the mission that drives us every day.

🌕Who We Are:
Founded in March 2018, FreshQue is a Dallas County-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to closing the after-school hunger gap and addressing food insecurity among children and youth throughout DFW, Metroplex, and surrounding areas .

We believe students should not go hungry after the school day ends. Through free, nutritious after-school meals, wraparound services, and community partnerships, we provide children and families with the nourishment, resources, and support they need.

🟡Our Mission:
To provide free, nutritious meals, wraparound services, and supportive programs that empower children, youth, and families while strengthening communities impacted by food insecurity.

🌕What We Do:
Every day, FreshQue Foundation works to ensure children have access to nutritious food and the resources they need to succeed by providing:

🟡 Free, Nutritious After-School Meals for children / youth across DFW.

🟡 Wraparound Services, including:

Family resource referrals
Health and wellness resources
Community resource events
Volunteer opportunities
Connections to trusted community partners

🟡 Community Partnerships with schools, nonprofits, businesses, volunteers, and civic organizations to expand access to meals, resources, and opportunities for at risk children
