Faribault Cares is working on a project designed to support individuals who are passionate about caring for children and want to explore new ways of offering high-quality, flexible childcare. We are so greatful to The Faribault Foundation for their generous support!

With these dollars, we will provide Free trainings and other supports to local providers! (Stay tuned for info!)

The Faribault Foundation is proud to announce the second Founders Fund Grant in its augural year 2025.
Members of the Founders Society have contributed to the Founders Fund.
A grant of $10,000. was awarded to Faribault Cares. This organization was selected by the Faribault Foundation Board of Directors in accordance with its granting and spending policies.
Faribault Cares is a newly established 501c3 organization, founded under the Visionary Agenda of the Faribault Area Chamber of Commerce. The mission is to address the critical shortage of approximately 500 childcare slots in the Faribault area by:
• Eliminating Barriers to Childcare: ensure that no family in Faribault is forced to choose between work and childcare due to limited availability or affordability.
• Empowering Childcare Providers: offer ongoing support, resources, and professional development to childcare providers, recognizing their vital role in shaping young minds.
• Nurturing Children's Education and Development: advocate for high-quality, enriching childcare experiences that foster a love for learning and equip children with essential social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
The Faribault Foundation is proud to support this outstanding community effort. You can be part of the Founders Fund and help support grantmaking like this in the future.
