Congratulations to our fifth grant recipient of 2026 from the Founders Fund! HOPE Center was chosen by the Foundation's Board of Directors to receive $15,000.

The HOPE Center mission is to create zero tolerance for sexual and domestic violence through healing, outreach, prevention and education. Through innovative programming, HOPE Center offers direct support to victims of violence in Rice County, collaborative support to other organizations that serve victims, and educational support to the entire community.

The HOPE Center believes that everyone has the right to live in a safe and healthy environment, free from all forms of violence. They provide a safe haven for victims and their families, offering resources such as counseling, legal advocacy, emergency shelter, and personal advocacy.

Their outreach programs aim to raise awareness about the prevalence and impact of sexual and domestic violence, and their prevention initiatives focus on educating individuals and communities about the importance of respect, consent, and healthy relationships.

HOPE Center's goal is not just to provide temporary relief for victims, but to change societal attitudes and behaviors towards violence. By cultivating a culture of zero tolerance for sexual and domestic violence, they aim to break the cycle of violence and create lasting change. HOPE Center believes that by working together, we can make our community safer for everyone.

“Receiving an unrestricted grant from the Faribault Foundation is a breath of fresh air. This grant will be able to go swiftly and directly to the area of most need and immediately start to change lives. We are grateful for the trust you have placed in our organization and the significant investment you have placed in our community. A community that invests in non-profits enables all of us to live healthier, more vibrant lives”
-Erica Staab, HOPE Center Executive Director
