NEW THIS YEAR: Meet the Artists Behind Runway Revival 🎨
Ever wondered what inspires someone to turn a pool liner or used coffee filters into a runway masterpiece? This year, for the first time, you can find out! Every Runway Revival artist recorded a personal video — sharing their story, walking through the materials and inspiration behind their piece, and introducing the model who will bring it to life on stage. It's your backstage pass to the creativity, heart, and imagination behind every design, before it ever hits the runway. Don't miss it!
Meet your 2026 Emcees:
Cassie Meza — Food Access Manager in Faribault and a 4-year Runway Revival committee member, Cassie is walking into her third year as an artist, crafting wearable art from unexpected materials like coffee-stained filters and used dryer sheets. She believes creativity brings people together and finds beauty in unexpected places.
Anika Rychner — Senior Director at Community Action Center and a founding member of Runway Revival, Anika has created pieces for the runway the past two years — past designs have included a transformed pool liner and used records and CDs. She loves how this event weaves together creativity, sustainability, and community, and believes that when people come together with imagination and heart, they build something truly meaningful.
Both are thrilled to take the mic and welcome you into an evening of art, connection, and belonging.
