The Fargo Public Schools Alumni Network extends a heartfelt thank you to the Fargo South Class of 1976 for giving back to today’s Bruins!

During their 50-year reunion this summer, the Class of 1976 generously raised $7,600 to support current students at Fargo South High School. 🎉

Their gift will help provide essential resources for students in need, including warm clothing, activity fees, prescription glasses, and other necessities that help students focus on learning and reaching their educational goals.

Thank you, Class of 1976, for celebrating your milestone reunion by making a meaningful difference for the next generation of Bruins! 🐻💙💛

The Fargo Public Schools Alumni Network remembers Dale Hertel and the lasting impact he made on generations of Fargo South students and athletes.

Dale dedicated his time and talents to Fargo Public Schools as a teacher, coach with the Bruins football program, and assistant coach with the track program. His commitment to students extended beyond the classroom, helping shape young people through education, athletics, and mentorship.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Dale’s family, friends, former colleagues, students, and athletes. His contributions to the Bruin community will be remembered. 💙💛

Hertel guided the Bruins to eight state championships in 21 seasons before becoming an assistant at Concordia.

A heartfelt thank you to the Fargo North Class of 1985 for investing in the next generation of Spartans! Through your scholarship for graduating seniors, you’re helping today’s students pursue their futures while continuing a proud tradition of Spartans supporting Spartans.

Look what we did! The first Fargo North Class of 1985 Scholarship was awarded to Kellen Dougherty. Thank you to all of our classmates that made this possible.

👟 New shoes, ready for a new school year!

A big thank you to the Mark Knutson Shoes for Kids Legacy Fund and Scheels for generously donating shoes for Fargo Public Schools students!

With the help of Foundation volunteers, FPS delivery drivers, and Operations Center staff, the shoes will be distributed to school buildings before the start of the school year.

These shoes will be provided to students in need across the district. We are grateful to everyone who helped make this donation possible and get the shoes where they are needed most! 💙
