For the past few years, Polaris has generously supported one of our featured programs at Camp Wilderness by donating ATVs to help us get the program off the ground. We’re incredibly grateful for their partnership and the opportunities it has created for our campers!

This summer, that initial donation agreement came to an end, and we faced an important decision whether to purchase the ATVs at market value and continue offering the program, or return the machines and bring the program to a close.

With the positive feedback and meaningful experiences the ATV program has provided, we decided to invest $15,000 to purchase the machines and keep this opportunity available for future campers. This was a planned investment in a program we believe in, rather than an unexpected expense. And while we know we’ve shared several fundraising requests recently, we’re reaching out because we believe this program is worth sustaining and want to give our community an opportunity to help support it.

If you’d like to contribute toward the ATV program, we’d be grateful for your support! You can make a gift using the link below and simply add “ATV Program” in the donation notes so your gift can be directed to this effort. Thank you for being part of the Camp Wilderness community and for helping us create meaningful experiences for our campers. Every gift, share, and show of support means so much to us!

13 Eagle Scouts made NFL rosters this season. Garett Bolles, Landon Dickerson, Trey Smith, David Montgomery and more are proving that the values learned in Scouting carry all the way to the biggest stage in football.

Last weekend, the North Dakota Army National Guard hosted nearly 100 Scouts at Camp Grafton near Devils Lake for the 10th annual Camp Grafton Merit Badge Weekend!

Scouts had the opportunity to take part in high-quality, hands-on merit badge classes, including plumbing, home repair, orienteering, and more. Many of these classes were taught by Army instructors who regularly teach these same skills to Guardsmen.

The Scouts also heard from a National Guard recruiter about the benefits and opportunities of serving in the Guard, while enjoying the chance to spend time together and experience an overnight stay at Camp Grafton.

Our appreciation goes out to all the volunteers who helped make this weekend possible, to the North Dakota National Guard for hosting us once again, and to all the Scouts who came out and participated.

5 Eagle Scouts are linemen for the undefeated (as of 9/15) Class AAA Bismarck Legacy Sabres Football team! Jake Fischer (51), Alex Aukland (53), Davis Sondeland (60), Hunter Carlson (66) and Jon Sperry (72). We celebrate their hard work in balancing success both on and off the football field!

And 2 more- Aiden Berg (67) & Jarrett Volochenko (58) are Life Scouts getting close to Eagle!

Being an offensive lineman comes with little of the spotlight, but for five Legacy High School football players, the position carries an additional badge of honor.
