Get to know Myah Young, our new Match Support Specialist! ⬇️

"I've been in the FM area since late 2009. I have always been passionate about helping and advocating for those in need. I recently graduated from MSUM in December 2025 with bachelor's degrees in Criminal Justice and Sociology.

I have worked in various roles such as a direct support professional for adults with disabilities, a crisis line advocate, and, most recently, an assistant program coordinator in substance abuse recovery treatment. I am very excited to help make a positive impact with our youth and volunteers!

I'm very passionate about being here because this is a full circle moment for me. 💚 Fun Fact: I was a Little in BBBS for nearly 10 years! My Big Sister and I are a family. My goal is to create as many lifelong, impactful matches as I can in my role as a match support specialist!"

Every October 10th, World Mental Health Day invites us to pause and talk openly about mental health. While mental well-being is something we talk about at The Village all year long, this day is a reminder that honest conversations have the power to reduce stigma and encourage people to seek support....
