Established in 1990 as “The Christmas Wish” by Dan Michaels. We help make holiday dreams come true.

Established in 1990 as “The Christmas Wish”, we’re in our 34th year of “helping make holiday dreams come true”. Each holiday season we ask our listeners to inform us of individuals and families who ﬁnd themselves in need during the most important time of the year; Christmas. Based on the philosophy of biggest need comes ﬁrst, we do our best to grant as many “Gifts” as possible. Most of these “Gift

s” are recorded and played back each weekday morning in December until Christmas; every one of them touching your heart. In keeping with the mantra of keeping the holiday spirit all the year ‘round, we also grant “Gifts” outside Christmas time when the need arises. Our revenue is produced by fundraising activities have included “Gift Burgers” each summer, “Fashion Avenue” in the fall, and generous donations. Meet the Team : Dan Michaels - Founder & President

Originally established in 1990 by Dan Michaels as “The Christmas Wish”, we’re in our 35th year of “helping make holiday dreams come true”. Dan has a passion for giving back and making a positive impact in our community. For many years he served as co-emcee of Fashion Avenue alongside Keith McDougall. Now you will typically find him in the back of the room before the show.

Meet the Team : Livewire

Fashion Avenue is a visually stunning event thanks to the team at Livewire. They provide all of the production services that tie the entire evening together from the stage to sound and lighting. Our models and everyone on stage shines bright thanks to their attention to detail and lighting. If you look in the back or corner of the room, you'll find the Livewire team making sure everything is running smoothly!

It takes a huge team and a lot of collaboration and creativity to make Fashion Avenue possible each year. We are thankful for the countless hours that are given to The Christmas Gift by an extremely talented group of dedicated volunteers.

This year we'll also be joined by the Oak Grove Carolers!

Our show features fantastic music and the best of Fargo/Moorhead: production by Livewire and Choreography by Natalie Sparrow of Natalie Sparrow Management. Each year we grant a Christmas Gift before the show to put everyone on the same page; the reason we're there. Then the fun starts!

Meet the Team : Natalie Sparrow

If you've attended Fashion Avenue, you've experienced the hard work and vision of Natalie. She puts countless hours into show production and design including choosing the music and creating the choreography for most of the show. She leads hours of rehearsals making sure the show comes together. Although she spends most of her time behind the scenes, Fashion Avenue wouldn't be possible without her.
