DOVS "To provide education and support for volunteerism by building effective leaders." We meet the First Tuesday of Every month except January. 11:30am - 1:00pm

The Fargo-Moorhead Area Directors of Volunteer Services (DOVS) is a nonprofit association aimed at educating professionals who coordinate volunteer programs. Our purpose is to provide Volunteer Directors with opportunities to unite under a common cause. We offer professional growth through both educational seminars and workshops. We also deliver avenues for networking and programming that offer ou

r members the opportunity to learn from other Volunteer Coordinators on topics including volunteerism, management, and leadership. Our DOVS mission is to provide education and support for volunteerism by building effective leaders. The goals of our organization are to provide education on volunteerism and coordination; to provide an opportunity to exchange information and ideas; to advocate for volunteers and volunteer coordinators; to promote a greater appreciation, understanding and utilization of volunteer services; and to provide workshops for continuing education.

Thanks to everyone who turned out to the FM RedHawks Volunteer Appreciation Game + Ice Cream Social last night! We had a blast hosting our nonprofit booths, and to top it off, the Hawk pulled through for a 11-8 win!
