Congratulations to our amazing students for their GOLD recognition at the National Level!

Three NDSU students recently attended the American Advertising Awards Gala (ADDYs) in Austin, Texas, where they won gold in the student division for their spec poster campaign for the Library of Congress.

A Gold ADDY Award represents the highest level of creative excellence. For Emma Rehder, the impact of the recognition hit home when she saw their work featured alongside campaigns from massive brands. "When we walked up to the slideshow with all the campaigns that won, I saw professional ads from Disney, Pepsi, Doritos and more," she said. "It finally clicked in my mind the weight of this award."

Congratulations to Tyler Halstenson, Emma Rehder and Anthony Tortorice for this incredible achievement!

An INCREDIBLE season coming to a close this week🔥

A group of fantastic speakers, a record year for nonprofit giveback, amazing community engagement, excited student opportunities, district + national (!) winnings, generous sponsors, and, of course, stellar members and board crew—the 2025-2026 season was in fact, hype.

We are SO thrilled for these students and their accomplishments! They, along with a talented pool of other students, professionals and community creatives started this journey last fall when they submitted their work to the American Advertising Awards. After an exciting show at the local chapter level, then on to the districts, and now the national level!

Emma is the creative force behind so much of the magic at AAF-ND this season! She brings fresh ideas, thoughtful design, and major HYPE energy to everything she touches. We're beyond lucky to have her on the board and helping shape the look, feel, and future of our club.
