A heartfelt thank you to Gate City Bank and Bloomfield Garden Center for helping bring beauty and warmth to HIA Heather’s House. 🌸

Gate City Bank volunteers spent time planting flowers in every garden box, adding color, care, and a welcoming touch that helps create a comforting space for our patients, their loved ones, and our staff each day.

We also appreciate Bloomfield Garden Center for the beautiful blooms—these flowers will be a welcoming presence for all who visit HIA Heather’s House. 💐

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for RibBest 2026! Because of your support, the event raised $750 for HIA Hospice, helping fund programs and services that support patients and families across the communities we serve. With this year's donation and from previous RibBest events, more than $10,000 has been raised for HIA Hospice in support of its mission.

We are so grateful to our incredible pitmasters, volunteers, and community members who brought energy, delicious food, and generosity to the day. Your involvement made RibBest not just an event, but a celebration of community and caring.

We couldn’t do this without you—thank you for making a difference.

Caregiving is an act of love — but caregivers need support too.

At HIA Hospice, we walk alongside caregivers through every stage of the journey by offering education, respite support, and compassionate guidance when it’s needed most.

Sometimes the most important reminder a caregiver can hear is:
“You do not have to do this alone.”
