🎉🏠❤️Today is the day! One year ago today, HIA Heather's House welcomed our first patient; today we celebrate our first year of patient care, the families we have supported, and the support of our community in bringing the vision of HIA Heather's House to life.

Our Open House is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today!

💛Our staff started our celebration this morning by tying ribbons to honor each patient served at HIA Heather's House this year.

Some moments in life feel heavier than words can express. During times of loss, having compassionate support and someone who understands can make all the difference.

“The care team took on the responsibility of knowing what was happening so we could focus on being together as a family, and it took so much off of our shoulders,” Lori Shared. "That meant more than we can ever express."

Lori’s story is a reminder that grief does not have to be faced alone. With the right support, comfort and hope can be found even during the most difficult seasons.

Finding support after the loss of a loved one can make all the difference.

HIA Hospice offers free grief support groups that provide a safe, compassionate space to connect with others, share your experiences, and navigate the healing journey together. These groups are open to anyone in the community who has experienced a loss through death, regardless of whether their loved one received hospice care.
