Yesterday was our quarterly meeting and we had a great session!
On top of welcoming new members, discussing a new logo and discussing potential free service gifting we had a great presentation from Steamatic of the Red River Valley!
This company shows so much passion and compassion for their job and their clients! Offering services ranging from disaster help (water, fire etc.) to residential services for cleaning out and assisting those who hoard for solutions, they do it all. And they do it right!

Hoarding is an incredibly personal issue that can have aspects of grief, shame, depression, or other mental health issues.
Many individuals can be hesitant to change due to these issues.
So how do you help?
The first step is listening to the person. Ensure they know that you are concerned for their health, safety and happiness. Let them know that you care for them as a person. Do not propose drastic actions, threaten or shame the person.

If you need assistance in speaking to friend or family about a hoarding or unsafe living situation, we can help.
