Nathaniel “Nate” Kallod played SYBA basketball from 2012–2017 and graduated from Fargo North in 2022.

Some of Nate’s favorite SYBA memories are the tournament weekends—staying in hotels with teammates, competing together, and celebrating a lot of success on the court. Even better, many of those early SYBA teammates are still some of his good friends today.

Nate is now giving back to the next generation of Spartans as the coach of the Spartans Boys C Team. We’re proud to have SYBA alumni continuing the tradition and helping build the Northside basketball family. 💙💛

Once a Spartan, always a Spartan.

As we head into Giving Hearts week, we wanted to send a note to communicate one of the biggest reasons we all love living in our local community: the generosity. It's outstanding. During all times of the year, we hear stories of people's generosity in giving to the needs of people, and one of the biggest investment times comes during Giving Hearts Week. We are thrilled to be part of such a generous community.

We wanted to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to all of you for your ongoing support of SYBA through your involvement in signing up your child to play basketball, volunteering, and/or coaching. SYBA does not happen without the commitment of parents and coaches who show up to encourage kids week after week. THANK YOU!

SYBA is not officially part of Giving Heart Day, so we would like to first encourage you to give generously to an organization that connects with you, and second, we would love to invite you to give directly to SYBA by clicking: https://sybafargo.com/donate

When you give financially to SYBA, you are helping more kids play basketball and keeping SYBA affordable despite rising costs such as gym space, jerseys, and FMYBL league fees.

Thank you for your ongoing support of SYBA! We are so grateful!

Donate to SYBA! Every donation to the Spartan Youth Basketball Association helps us with our goal of making organized basketball accessible to all children on the north side of Fargo. It helps with everything: scholarships, uniforms, gym rentals, equipment, etc. Please consider making a donation to....
