Mere Mortals: Moses 🔥

Have you ever wondered if you’re qualified for the assignment God has given you? Maybe you’ve questioned your abilities, worried about what others will think, or feared that you might fail.

Moses wrestled with those same insecurities. But God’s response was powerful: “I will be with you." Exodus 3:12

God isn’t asking us to carry out our assignments in our own strength. He invites us to place our insecurities in His secure hands and trust Him to lead us every step of the way.

When God calls you, He calls you to greater reliance on Him!

Church, whatever assignment God has placed before you - marriage, parenting, leadership, workplace, or relationships, take your next step with faith. Your insecurities don’t have to defeat you when you trust the God who promises to be with you!

Let’s keep taking our next steps with Jesus! 🙌

Our faith grew this past Sunday as we reflected on Pauls words to Timothy!

We were reminded that faith in Christ thrives by constant kindling. Just like a fire needs to be tended, our daily kindling moments need to be prioritized and protected. We can practice daily kindling through prayer, scripture reading, memorization, worship, fellowship, reliance on God and remembering who God has called us to be. This week, be encouraged by Paul to stoke the fire of your faith and rely on the Holy Spirit's power, love, and self-discipline to walk boldly in God’s purpose for your life.

Challenge you when you’re comfortable.
Pray with you when life gets hard.

Sharpening happened again today at RHC! So great to worship with the family of God!

A God-honoring legacy isn’t built through power, position, or popularity. Jesus showed us that servant leadership is the way; putting others before ourselves, serving sacrificially, and valuing people the way God does. At RHC, we believe we are sharpened as we grow together, challenge one another, and take our next steps with Jesus. So this week, ask yourself: “How can I serve?” and look for an opportunity to put someone else’s needs before your own.

We believe our kids are not just the church of tomorrow. They are part of the church today. ❤️

That’s why we want every child who walks through the doors of Rescue House Church to feel known, loved, welcomed, and excited to learn about Jesus.

Our desire is to create a place where kids can encounter Jesus, grow in their relationship with Him, discover who God created them to be, and take their own next steps of faith.
