Celebrate the start of summer break at the Red River Zoo on Fri June 5th 11AM-4PM with a full day of family-friendly fun, hands-on activities, animal chats, carousel rides, and more!

Guests can also complete an Activity Passport to earn a FREE carousel ride. 🎠

Red pandas at the Red River Zoo are getting a brand new expanded habitat! Today we officially broke ground on Red Panda Passage. The new exhibit,opening in the spring of 2027, will be located near the carousel. It will feature expanded outdoor habitats, improved guest viewing, and indoor spaces designed for exceptional year-round red panda care. ❤️🐼🪏

This exciting project will support the zoo’s ongoing red panda conservation and breeding efforts while giving guests a closer look at these amazing animals and their daily care.

A huge thank you to Chord Energy and the North Dakota Destination Development Grant Program for helping bring this project to life, and to everyone who joined us to celebrate! ⭐️
