Banquet is tonight! We are still going to be having it under the covered picnic tables by the fair office (black and white building). We will move things along as it is chilly out. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Banquet will be Monday, October 14th at 6pm. Held under the covered area of the youth show office. We will provide sloppy joes. Please bring a dish to pass! See you all then! 😁

With the rain still coming down pretty good here and more forecasted for the rest of the day, we are going to be safe and move the show to August 23rd.

We need opinions for tonight’s show. We have two options.

1. Keep the show on for tonight.
2. Move the show to Friday, August 23rd.

The arena is muddy but not under water. It is soupy but not super deep. There is a wet hole by the third barrel and we would move the pattern down to stay out of it. We would also be doing the events for the August 24th show tonight to stay out of the mud if we keep the show tonight. The events would be Poles, Figure 8, Stake Race, and Barrels. Friday August 23rd is our only other day available that would put two shows back to back.

Please comment below what you’d like to do for tonight so we can make a decision by noon or shortly after!

Here are your trail and reining patterns. If you have questions please feel free to ask. Questions for the judge can be asked on fair day. Showmanship patterns have not been released by the judge yet. We will post them as soon as possible on show day.

Attention Horse Exhibitors for the Youth Show!

We made a few rule changes for this year so make sure you read them in the show book.

This year there will be NO class adds once you’ve signed up. It is your responsibility to sign up for the correct classes. You can scratch classes up to the morning of the show but we will not be adding them. My suggestion would be to sign up for everything you want to ride in or even every class you can, then scratch by the morning of the show what you decide not to ride in. This makes things much easier and less confusing. For years I’ve allowed entries the morning of the show but after much confusion last year I cannot allow it anymore.

You can only ride in one division (cloverbud, beginner, intermediate, senior). If you are not signed up correctly or in multiple divisions you will be disqualified in one of the divisions. Example: you sign up to be in cloverbud showmanship but ride in a beginner class after, you will be disqualified from the beginner class as you have all ready started the show in cloverbud. If you want to ride in all classes you must sign up in the beginner class for the full day. Make sure to check you have signed up for the same division for the full day!!

If you have questions please message me BEFORE you sign up. Reminder free online sign ups are open through the end of June.
