Falmouth Food Pantry

Falmouth Food Pantry For over 25 years the Falmouth Food Pantry has been serving the needs of citizens in Falmouth and surrounding communities. Please contact us for specifics.

Due to COVID-19 our building is now closed, but we are still serving those in need with monthly home food deliveries. If you live in Falmouth and are experiencing a food emergency, please contact us. We are accepting food donations as long as the items can be used in our home delivery boxes. The Falmouth Food Pantry is located next to the Town Hall in the space formerly occupied by the Falmouth Po

lice Department. Seven volunteer managers work with other volunteers to serve clients at the Pantry, bring meals to some clients, meet large food deliveries, and stock the shelves. The Pantry is not open on major holidays or school “Snow Days.”

If you need emergency assistance, please call 632-2687 or 781-2996.

THANK YOU to the many families who are reaching out to us during this SNAP crisis (Food Stamps). Your kindness and generosity is greatly appreciated. It is important to all the Food Pantries who are working hard to continue to provide essential foods to as many families as we can. And we need to be as effective as possible, so it is important to share how your donations can be most helpful. Because the physical space of our Pantry is a number of small rooms that must store foods for hundreds and because there is still a concern about serious illnesses, our Pantry continues to make Home Deliveries only. Volunteers pack cartons of both non-perishable and fresh foods and drive this food directly to our families in need. Many of our families suffer from health concerns, have food allergies, or even a lack of basic cooking equipment, so we make every effort to consider special food needs. While the wonderful food donations are helpful and save us money, we (and other pantries) are facing a storage problem. So…please consider a financial donation at this time. A monetary donation allows us to shop for sales and at discount stores, buy items wholesale, and to purchase specific food items when they are needed.

Here are three ways to make a monetary donation:

•CHECKS: payable to the Falmouth Food Pantry (271 Falmouth Road, Falmouth ME, 04105)

•PAYPAL: donations can be made at PayPal.com (search for Falmouth Food Pantry, Inc).

•VENMO: donations can be made at Venmo.com ()

Thank you!!

Welcome to Venmo! Manage your account balance, send/receive money, split bills, pay friends, and stay connected with your network all in one place.

A sincere thank you to Lily, a 1st grader at FES and a member of Falmouth Girl Scout Daisy Troop 1636 for delivering 28 boxes of Girl Scout cookies to our pantry. Lily’s customers included family, neighbors and friends in the Woodlands community of Falmouth. Lily is already looking forward to next cookie season…she hopes to increase her sales and make an even larger cookie donation to the FFP. Thank you Lily!

Update: This position has been filled!!

ATTENTION FRIENDS: The Falmouth Food Pantry is in immediate need of a volunteer to take charge of an at-home work position and a once a month on-site job. During the first week of each month you will send a group email to approximately 20 volunteers. The volunteers will respond and sign-up to pickup and deliver food to Pantry clients during one of two distribution days. You will then create and print the pickup schedule for both days. You will maintain this information on the two Google Doc documents as client and volunteer changes are made. The on-site job requires that you work with other volunteers at the Falmouth Food Pantry one Thursday morning a month. If you would like to be part of a team and help with this important service you will be trained by the current scheduler and you will meet other volunteers. If interested, please reach out to Carolyn Clement at [email protected].

THANK YOU!
