The event has donated over 100K to local charities. A nationally televised big game fishing tournament offering big cash prizes and world class amenities for all participating boats and crews. The event is based in Falmouth and Oak Bluffs Massachusetts. The OBBC donates proceeds to local charities each year and will be nationally televised in the SFC Tournament series on CBS Sports. Bluefin Blowout boats interested in fishing a bluefin tournament July 11 - 17...we are considering opening up a separate Bluefin Tuna Division in the Cape Cod Bluewater Classic. This bluefin division would have its own payout based on number of entries, (normal tournament format) and boats would have Sunday thru Friday to fish. Rec fish AND giants would count. We already have 1k and 2k added entry divisions for Biggest Commercial Bluefin and Biggest Rec Bluefin categories not to mention a Most Bluefin Tuna Caught trophy and if people want, we would consider a 5k Biggest Bluefin Jackpot calcutta. The key is interested level and format. Do people want to be able to fish all 6 days? Or pick 3 or 4 out of 6?. Weigh ins will be in Falmouth. So Chatham and Coxes Ledge would be easiest target zones..though boats could run through the canal if need be.
