🖤🤎 Celebrate the accomplishments and contributions of African Americans, not just in February but all year round! Especially in 2026, it is essential that we do not erase our past and deny the importance of telling "an accurate and inclusive history." (See below).

The official theme for Black History Month 2026, as designated by the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH), is "A Century of Black History Commemorations," marking 100 years since the founding of Black History Month by Dr. Carter G. Woodson and celebrating the ongoing efforts to preserve and share Black history and culture. The theme emphasizes the importance of telling an accurate, inclusive history and the role of Black History Month in shaping identity and promoting equality.
