Kirwin Murray Tour de Falmouth

Kirwin Murray Tour de Falmouth The Kirwin Murray Memorial Bike Ride benefits Falmouth Homeless Prevention, a fund operated by Falmouth Housing Corporation.

The main route is 29.3 miles through beautiful Falmouth. Peter Kirwin worked with Falmouth Human Services which has helped and continues to help thousands of Falmouth residents each year. Bob Murray ran Falmouth Housing Authority and was known for his creativity in providing affordable housing, one of which was starting Falmouth Housing Corporation, an independent entity which tackles the problems

of homelessness and access to housing for families and seniors. The Kirwin/Murray Memorial Bike Ride will take place Sunday, October 22 at 8am. There will be a shorter route to accommodate younger or more relaxed riders for 10 miles, perfect for parents and children.

THANK YOU for another incredible Kirwin/Murray Tour de Falmouth! We had an absolutely gorgeous day to spend together in recognition of the Falmouth Homeless Prevention Program and in honor of our friend, Matt Patrick, who left us just months ago.

We are grateful for the support of our riders, sponsors, and the support of our community. But we are always most grateful that our riders came back safe and sound. Thank you so much for your continued support, and we'll see you next year!

🌟 Eat Local, Give Local — This Friday! 🌟

🚴‍♀️ With the Tour de Falmouth happening this weekend, we’re proud to support the Falmouth Homeless Prevention Program (FHPP) for this week’s Eat Local, Give Local lunch.

🍴 Join us Friday, October 3rd (11:30–4) and 20% of your bill will be donated to FHPP — helping families in our community with the resources and stability they need to stay in their homes. 🏠

And we just have to say — the Town of Falmouth is awesome! 💚
Last week, you came out in force to support I Got You Inc. and, between sales and generous donations, we were able to give them $650! 🙌

Let’s keep the momentum going — dine with us, give back, and be part of the community spirit that makes Falmouth so special.

A huge shoutout to our 2025 Sponsors, who made this ride possible!

Our hearts are heavy with the news of Matt Patrick's passing yesterday at the age of 73. Matt was a proud longtime supporter of access to affordable and safe housing in our communities and the sport of cycling, which no doubt led to his involvement in getting the Kirwin/Murray Tour de Falmouth started 9 years ago.

Matt touched many lives throughout his years in public service and engagement in Falmouth and far beyond. We were lucky to have him on our side to make a better, safer community for everyone and we at Tour de Falmouth will remember him fondly as we carry on the tradition he helped to start. Our thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time, and we hope you will join us in remembering Matt for his kindness, dedication, and care for his neighbors. 🩵🚲
