As we change from Summer to Fall, we want to remind you all of some exciting news. Our beloved mentor and friend, Tony Colacchio - who left us too soon but not before growing the sport of Wheelchair curling, is being inducted into the USA Curling Hall of Fame, on October 3rd in Colorado. For those of us who know Tony we’re not surprised but are certainly thrilled that he is receiving this recognition for all his efforts to grow the sport of wheelchair curling.
While the induction ceremony is at the Rock Creek Curling Club, in Colorado, which is a bit far for folks to travel.. it will be live streamed and we hope you tune into USA Curling to celebrate virtually, along with all of us.
Fear not though friends! We at the Cape Cod Curling Club are not known to miss a chance to party in person... so we will be holding including a Celebration for Tony's Hall Of Fame Induction at our club during the 15th Annual Tony Colacchio Wheelchair Spiel!
As a reminder, this year marks the 15th Tony Colacchio Wheelchair Bonspiel, and it is happening Friday, November 13 - Sunday, November 15. During the banquet on Saturday evening (11/13) of the ‘spiel, we will be celebrating Tony and his most recent award. We would LOVE for all of you to be there with us if you can.

If you are not able to play in the spiel this year, we hope you will consider coming out for the celebration of Tony during the banquet.
Many of you were there ‘in the beginning’ and, as we gather for our 15th Wheelchair Bonspiel, it would be a lovely tribute to Tony and his family to have as many people as possible there to celebrate our amazing friend. We will have a separate link for those not participating in the spiel to sign up for just the banquet celebration on Saturday, once the event details are finalized.
