Colonial Curling is doing an open doubles tournament May 28 - 31st in Worcester that should be a great event for players of all levels.

Key items:
Professionally prepared ice surface to ensure curl and fun times
Two events - competitive and not-so-competitive for curlers of all abilities
Flexible start times for Thursday PM or Friday AM; end by noon Sunday
Two nights of food - event is literally in a brewery in Worcester (easy to get to)
We're all dedicated to growing the sport of curling in the area, and this event will allow people to compete in a level-appropriate way on great ice and have fun doing so!

How cool is the Team USA and all the Wheelchair Curling Teams at Milano Cortina 2026? Who's watching the Semi-Finals today with our Mixed Doubles Team of Steve & Laura?

As we cheer on Team USA and all the teams at Cortina, we want to let all our Wheelchair Curling friends know that we have secured the dates for the 2026 Tony Colacchio Wheelchair Spiel this fall.

So SAVE THE DATE: November 13-15 (Friday to Sunday) You can sign up as a Team or you can sign up as an individual!

Registration will open in the early summer.

Please share this info with any Wheelchair curlers you know!

While I always joke that curling should not take a backseat to life, when you hear terms like bombogenesis, heart attack snow and widespread power outages, it will have to. All curling for Monday, February 23, is cancelled. We will reassess after the storm and confirm whether we will be able to open the Club on Tuesday.

Please note!

We are back open for business! League curling will resume tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27. Our parking lot has been plowed, even the gravel, but please be cautious out there. There is no parking available on the hill down from the club. Roads are narrowed because there is just so much snow! The only place to put it appears to be up. Huge piles at all corners. Thank you to our President and her helpers for shoveling out the ramp to the front door and the kitchen door and stairs. Such a “glamorous” job; all done with a huge smile.

As the Winter Storm Warning continues to be in effect through 8 p.m. tonight, all curling for Monday, January 26, 2026 is CANCELLED and the club building is closed. Given the uncertainty of the status of our parking lot, the walkways and stairways leading into the Club, we urge all to stay home and be safe!

With the impending winter storm and its expected crippling effects, all afternoon and evening curling tomorrow, Sunday, January 25, is cancelled.

Sunday morning Doubles league will curl as scheduled. Due to the expected timeline and the uncertainty of when roads or our parking lot will be clear,

Monday morning pick up curling and the Monday High Noon league are also cancelled. We will decide about the remaining Monday leagues as soon as possible.

What a wonderful way to start the new year. Our ‘Curling for a Cause’ event on January 1, 2026 was a huge success! The event’s chairs, Michael and Tina White, presented Ginny Irving from the Falmouth Service Center with a check for $2,568.00 and a bounty of food for this fantastic community organization that provides essential services to our vulnerable neighbors. Our membership is so generous! Thank you to all those who donated to this worthwhile event.

Have you heard? The US 20206 Paralympic Wheelchair Curling Teams are coming to Cape Cod Curling Club for a Training Camp on January 23 & 24th! AND.. Cape Cod's own Sean O'Neill is a part of the 4-person Mixed Wheelchair Team!

The Wheelchair Curling Program and all of Cape Cod Curling Club are excited and honored to host the USA Wheelchair Curling Team over this weekend. In addition to their time on the ice, they will be assisting with our Wheelchair Curling Open House on Saturday and they will be the guests of honor at the FUNDRAISING PARTY that we will be hosting on Saturday night, January 24th!

Come join us for a fun night filled with new and old friends, live music by The Joneses, Raffles, Silent Auctions, Wine Pull, 50/50 Lottery, Cash Bar, Food, Fun... AND a chance to hear from as well as meet and mingle with the both of the '26 US Paralympic Wheelchair Curling Teams (Mixed Wheelchair & Mixed Doubles)!

There is a $10 cover and all proceeds from the door, and fundraising activities are being collected by Cape Cod Curling CLub and then sent to US Curling, earmarked for the Wheelchair Curling Teams. These funds will help the Team to cover the costs of their training, travel, competitions and preparations for the Paralympic Games in Italy this March!
