📚 Celebrating Our Students’ Success! 🌟

HRF is proud to share that students at the Homaira Rahman Elementary School received their mid-term results in early August!

Our 150 students in 1st and 3rd grades have worked hard, and we are especially proud of our top-scoring students for their outstanding achievements. ⭐️👏

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated teachers and staff for their hard work, patience, and commitment to helping every child learn and succeed.

We are also deeply grateful to The Children of War (TCOW), our valued partner organization, for their continued support and collaboration in providing quality education to children in Afghanistan.

Together, we are helping our students build a brighter future—one lesson, one achievement, and one child at a time. ❤️

Nuristan Flood Relief

Last month, in July, devastating floods struck Nuristan, leaving families grieving, displaced, and facing the loss of their homes and livelihoods.

The Homaira Rahman Foundation (HRF) is grateful to have contributed $2,000 to The Children of War (TCOW) toward their emergency relief efforts for families affected by this disaster.

Thanks to the generous support and compassionate donations of those who came together to help, TCOW The Children Of War was able to assist 102 families, including:

• 24 families who lost loved ones
• 78 families who lost their homes and small businesses

As part of the broader effort to help communities prepare for future flooding, a flood protection wall/small flood-control dam in Takhar Province is also being developed to help protect vulnerable communities, homes, agricultural land, and infrastructure from seasonal flooding. The structure is designed to withstand strong water pressure and reduce the risk of future flood damage.

HRF is thankful to have played a part in this important relief effort and deeply appreciates everyone whose generosity made assistance possible.

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the TCOW staff for their dedication, compassion, and continued commitment to helping families in need.

Continuing its commitment to supporting education, HRF provided $1,000 this year to fund handmade school uniforms for the boys and girls attending the OWA School in Kabul, home to the HRF Learning Center.

Using carefully selected, high-quality fabric, skilled local tailors handcrafted uniforms for the orphaned children, helping them attend school with confidence and dignity. 🩷💙

Thank you to our generous supporters for making this possible, and our heartfelt appreciation to the staff of the Orphans & Widows Association for their outstanding coordination and dedication. 🌟

📚✏️ HRF is proud to support our hardworking students during the academic year! This spring, we distributed essential school supplies to both boys and girls at the HRF Learning Center located at the OWA School in Kabul. Each student received a kit filled with necessities such as notebooks, pens, and more — everything they need to succeed in their studies. Together, we’re fostering a brighter future through education! 🌟🎒

Celebrating the spirit of Eid al-Adha last month at OWA School in Kabul was memorable! 🎉🍰 HRF wanted to make the occasion special and provided a delicious cake, which brought smiles and happiness to our students. We were delighted to see the children enjoy the day and create wonderful memories together. 🌟

🌟The Homaira Rahman Elementary School welcomed students back this spring, with classes beginning at the end of March. We’re excited to share that 120 third-grade students are enrolled, along with 30 new first-grade students—both boys and girls—starting their educational journey. This marks the third year that school is in session since its establishment.
School supplies were also distributed to help equip students for a successful start. 📚📓✏️

HRF’s 5th Sponsored Iftar Meal Distribution 🌙

Ramadan Iftar Day 22
This Iftar was held at TCOW Paghman School for orphaned and underprivileged students. HRF was pleased to sponsor this effort, which provided freshly cooked meals to these deserving children. This marks the 5th and final Iftar sponsorship, totaling $1750.

We are grateful for our supporters’ generosity during this blessed month of Ramadan. Special thanks to team for coordinating these efforts!

HRF’s 3rd Sponsored Iftar Meal Distribution 🌙

The third HRF-sponsored Iftar meal distribution, organized by (TCOW), took place in Etefaq Township, Dasht-e-Barchi (Kabul). This initiative served 180 meals to those in need on the 15th day of Ramadan.

Thank you to all who support this mission of giving. May our collective efforts continue to bring hope and nourishment to those who need it most. 💙
