🌟The Homaira Rahman Elementary School welcomed students back this spring, with classes beginning at the end of March. We’re excited to share that 120 third-grade students are enrolled, along with 30 new first-grade students—both boys and girls—starting their educational journey. This marks the third year that school is in session since its establishment.
School supplies were also distributed to help equip students for a successful start. 📚📓✏️

HRF’s 5th Sponsored Iftar Meal Distribution 🌙

Ramadan Iftar Day 22
This Iftar was held at TCOW Paghman School for orphaned and underprivileged students. HRF was pleased to sponsor this effort, which provided freshly cooked meals to these deserving children. This marks the 5th and final Iftar sponsorship, totaling $1750.

We are grateful for our supporters’ generosity during this blessed month of Ramadan. Special thanks to team for coordinating these efforts!

HRF’s 3rd Sponsored Iftar Meal Distribution 🌙

The third HRF-sponsored Iftar meal distribution, organized by (TCOW), took place in Etefaq Township, Dasht-e-Barchi (Kabul). This initiative served 180 meals to those in need on the 15th day of Ramadan.

This area is home to many vulnerable families, including children women and men, many of whom rely on daily labor and temporary work to survive. The Homaira Rahman Foundation in partnership with (TCOW) distributed winter aid to 100 vulnerable families in Baghlan District, Borka District, and Badam Dara village.

Families received essential supplies — flour, rice, sugar, tea, oil, and charcoal — to help them through the winter season. HRF contributed $2,000 to support this effort.

Prior to winter break, students at the HRF Learning Center at the OWA School in Kabul, received essential supplies to support their studies. 📚✏️

All 60 students (boys and girls) in grades 1–6 were provided with school supply kits, each containing pens, one pencil, one ruler, one sharpener, one eraser, and notebooks covering key subjects such as English, Dari, and math—helping them stay organized and prepared for learning.

Alongside their regular classes, the children are continuing their computer lessons with their teacher, gaining essential digital skills that will support their education and future opportunities. đź’»
