Our Chapter is working closely with KNA for Kentucky Nurses Helping Nurses for the COVID-19 Support program. If you know of any psychiatric providers (psych nurse practitioners, psychiatrists, therapists, etc.) who might be willing to take a new client, please feel free to send us their name and contact information. Visit the APNA booth at 2019 Lexington Pride Festival, June 28th-29th, 5:00 to around 8:00. Our activity goal is to educate the public about alcohol !

APNA KY Chapter had a booth at Lexington's first annual DiverCity Festival. We educated the public about safe drinking limits. A PhD student asked to join APNA KY Chapter, and an employer asked us to post job openings for home health psych nurses. Thanks to Diana Spring, Madi Strong, and Sooksai Kaewbua for volunteering at the event.
