দ্বিতীয় বিশ্বযুদ্ধের পর ব্রিটিশ সাম্রাজ্যের রাজনৈতিক ও অর্থনৈতিক অবস্থার পরিবর্তন ঘটে। ভারতীয় উপমহাদেশে স্বাধীনতার দাবি আরও জোরালো হয়।

ব্রিটিশদের প্রস্থান কোনো একটি যুদ্ধের পরাজয়ের সরাসরি ফল ছিল না। এর পেছনে কয়েকটি দীর্ঘমেয়াদি কারণ একসঙ্গে কাজ করেছিল:
দীর্ঘদিনের স্বাধীনতা আন্দোলন ও গণসংগ্রাম।
দ্বিতীয় বিশ্বযুদ্ধের পর ব্রিটেনের অর্থনৈতিক ও সামরিক দুর্বলতা।
ভারতীয় জাতীয়তাবাদী রাজনীতির বিস্তার।
আজাদ হিন্দ ফৌজের বিচারকে কেন্দ্র করে জনমত।
১৯৪৬ সালের নৌবিদ্রোহ ও সশস্ত্র বাহিনীতে অসন্তোষ।
ব্রিটিশ সরকারের ক্ষমতা হস্তান্তরের রাজনৈতিক সিদ্ধান্ত।

VEP 5.0: A Journey of Learning, Leadership & Growth

গতকাল সফলভাবে সম্পন্ন হলো CARO Volunteer Empowerment Program (VEP) 5.0-এর Presentation Day & Closing Ceremony।

তিন মাসের এই যাত্রায় অংশগ্রহণকারীরা শুধু বিভিন্ন দক্ষতা অর্জনই করেনি; বরং teamwork, communication, responsibility এবং leadership-এর বাস্তব অভিজ্ঞতার মধ্য দিয়ে নিজেদের আরও সমৃদ্ধ করেছে। VEP-এর কাঠামোতে hands-on tasks, mentorship এবং skill-building-এর মাধ্যমে professional ও leadership development-এর ওপর গুরুত্ব দেওয়া হয়।

Closing Ceremony-তে অংশগ্রহণকারীরা তাদের কাজ, অভিজ্ঞতা ও শেখাগুলো উপস্থাপন করার সুযোগ পেয়েছে। এই আয়োজন ছিল তাদের পুরো journey-এর একটি meaningful reflection এবং ভবিষ্যতের পথচলার প্রস্তুতি।

VEP 5.0-এর সকল volunteer, mentor এবং সংশ্লিষ্ট team members-কে আন্তরিক অভিনন্দন ও ধন্যবাদ।

VEP 5.0: A Journey of Learning, Leadership & Growth

Yesterday, CARO Volunteer Empowerment Program (VEP) 5.0 successfully concluded with its Presentation Day & Closing Ceremony.

Throughout this three-month journey, participants not only developed valuable skills but also enriched themselves through practical experiences in teamwork, communication, responsibility, and leadership. VEP places strong emphasis on professional and leadership development through hands-on tasks, mentorship, and skill-building activities.

During the Closing Ceremony, participants had the opportunity to present their work, experiences, and key learnings. The event served as a meaningful reflection on their journey while preparing them for the opportunities and responsibilities ahead.

A heartfelt congratulations and thank you to all the VEP 5.0 volunteers, mentors, and team members for their dedication, effort, and contribution.

তখন তার বয়স ছিল মাত্র ২১, কিন্তু স্বপ্ন ছিল বিশাল অন্যায়!

বলছি প্রীতিলতা ওয়াদ্দেদার এর কথা
যিনি ঔপনিবেশিক শাসনের বিরুদ্ধে দাঁড়িয়ে স্বাধীনতার পথ তৈরি করেন। বাংলাদেশে ব্রিটিশবিরোধী আন্দোলনের ইতিহাসে চট্টগ্রামের মাটিতে প্রীতিলতা ওয়াদ্দেদার শুধু একটি নাম নয় তিনি এক সাহসী প্রজন্মের প্রতীক।

১৯৩২ সালে মাস্টারদা সূর্য সেনের নেতৃত্বাধীন বিপ্লবী দলে যুক্ত হন প্রীতিলতা। এরপর হয়ে ওঠেন ব্রিটিশবিরোধী সশস্ত্র আন্দোলনের সক্রিয় একজন যোদ্ধা। তাঁর নেতৃত্ব ও অংশগ্রহণে চট্টগ্রামের পাহাড়তলীর ইউরোপিয়ান ক্লাবে আক্রমণ পরিচালিত হয়।

১৯৩২ সালের ২৪ সেপ্টেম্বর রাতে সহযোদ্ধাদের নিয়ে সেই অভিযানে অংশ নেন প্রীতিলতা। একপর্যায়ে ব্রিটিশ বাহিনীর হাতে ধরা পড়ার আশঙ্কায় তিনি আত্মাহুতি দেন। মাত্র ২১ বছরের জীবনের ইতি ঘটলেও তাঁর গল্প থেমে যায়নি। কারণ প্রীতিলতার গল্প শুধু একটি অভিযানের গল্প নয়। এটা একজন তরুণীর অন্যায় মেনে নেব না এই দৃঢ় অবস্থানের গল্প। সময় বদলেছে, প্রজন্ম বদলেছে কিন্তু অন্যায়ের বিরুদ্ধে দাঁড়ানোর সাহসের গল্প হিসেবে প্রীতিলতা আজও প্রাসঙ্গিক। চট্টগ্রামের সেই অগ্নিকন্যা তাই ইতিহাসের পাতায় শুধু স্মৃতি নয় তিনি সাহস, আত্মত্যাগ আর স্বাধীনতার স্বপ্ন দেখা তরুণ প্রজন্মের জন্য এক অনন্য প্রতীক।

ন্যায্যতা কি শুধু একটি প্রত্যাশা, নাকি এটি একটি মৌলিক অধিকার?

একজন নাগরিক যদি নিয়ম মেনেও বারবার একটি সরকারি সেবার জন্য হয়রানির শিকার হন, তাহলে প্রশ্নটা শুধু ব্যক্তির নয়; সিস্টেমের।

CARO-এর Meta-Right to Structural Fairness ধারণা বলছে: শুধু অধিকার থাকা যথেষ্ট নয়; সেই অধিকারগুলো কার্যকর করার মতো ন্যায্য কাঠামোও প্রয়োজন।

কিন্তু একটি সিস্টেম সত্যিই কতটা ন্যায্য; তা আমরা মাপব কীভাবে? 🎥 এই ভিডিওতে শুরু হোক সেই প্রশ্নের অনুসন্ধান।
