A DAY THAT CHANGED HISTORY

On this day, 242 years ago, a charter was issued to Prince Hall and his brethren, establishing African Lodge No. 459 and laying the foundation for what would become Prince Hall Freemasonry.

What began with a vision, determination, and a commitment to brotherhood grew into a legacy of leadership, service, education, and community upliftment that continues to impact generations.

Today, we honor Prince Hall and the Brothers who paved the way. Their legacy lives through us, and the responsibility to carry it forward belongs to us.
