2016 White House Ornament
Fundraiser

The 2016 White House Christmas ornament honors the administration of Herbert Hoover, who served as the thirty-first President of the United States from 1929 to 1933. It is inspired by the fire engines that responded to the 1929 Christmas Eve fire
at the White House and the toy trucks presented to children by the Hoovers the following Christmas. The ornament is crafted from shiny brass plated with nickel and 24-karat gold, and the engine carries a Christmas tree for delivery to the White House.

Over the weekend we made cookies for our shut-ins, frosted them and boxed them. Now, we need deliverers. If you are able, please call Shelya and let her know that you can deliver. We have at least 18 boxes to deliver. Sister Lea will be taking some of the leftovers to the fire department neat the lodge and Steven White will be taking some to the Arlington County Police Dept.

Bethel #1
Kaylee Shuey (daughter of Paul and Myrna Shuey, members of our chapter), and Caitlin Hawrey will be representing the Bethel during the Virginia Miss Job's Daughter's pageant being held in Williamsburg during the Thanksgiving weekend. Good luck to Kaylee and Caitlin!
Installation of Officers on December 10th. Please come out and support the young ladies of Bethel #1. The installation will be held at Arlington Masonic Temple at 1 S. George Mason Drive Arlington at 7pm.
