The Friends of the Tysons-Pimmit Regional Library (Tysons Library Friends) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, driven by an active team of volunteers who support literacy, libraries, and our community. We work with the Library to take in daily donations of hundreds of books, process them and make them available for resale into loving homes through our quarterly used book sales and online sales.
The beautifully renovated Tysons-Pimmit Library, located in Northern Virginia (Fairfax County) serves its residents by offering more than 100,000 books and materials, in-house programs and learning opportunities, and meeting space and wi-fi. The Tysons Library Friends work within the space to support literacy; to encourage the reuse of books and keep them out of landfills; to bring attention to libraries, their resources, and to community literacy; to receive and encourage gifts, endowments, and bequests for literacy purposes; and to support and cooperate with libraries in developing public library services, materials, and facilities for the Fairfax County area in general and for the Tysons-Pimmit community in particular. We truly love and support library communities. Join us to connect with your community of fellow bibliophiles, support the Tysons-Pimmit Regional Library and literacy programs, and to make a difference in our neighborhood!
