Great excuse to take a break from cooking!

Small Business Saturday 2.0!

Why wait until November to celebrate and support our small businesses, when they need us more than ever? We declared every Saturday in May to be "Small Business Saturday" in the Little City.

From the proclamation: "Despite the stay-at-home orders, there are still numerous ways that residents can safely support local businesses including ordering curbside meal pickup, buying cleaning products and food supplies, buying gift cards, donating funds to local non-profits and businesses who work with them, supporting funds designated for employees of local businesses and much more."

Tag your favorite local businesses and share the ways you will and today and every Saturday in May to help the City’s businesses weather the pandemic and more quickly recover.

My husband and I run a local mom and pop pizzeria with our son. We both grew up in Fall Church and wanted to give back to our community. We opened up Pizza Walay right before the COVID-19 pandemic and are doing our best to stay afloat. I just wanted to reach out to the community and let everyone know Pizza Walay is open!
To give back to the community, we are providing meals to essential workers on a weekly basis to thank them for their services. During this time, we are reaching out to customers to let them know we are offering to deliver orders on their behalf to essential workers, friends, family and neighbors who could use a warm meal. We can make deliveries with a thank you note attached or keep it anonymous-your call! We are practicing social distancing and offering no contact delivery for everyone's safety.

Introducing Farmers Market TO-GO!

The Falls Church Farmers Market will reopen this Saturday, March 28 (9AM-noon) in a To-Go format. Customers must buy goods in advance with vendors -- online or over the phone -- and pick-up at the market. Shopping and browsing will not be allowed.

The new Farmers Market To-Go format offers an additional food source for residents and helps local farmers keep their businesses going (and growing) during the COVID-19 pandemic while complying with Commonwealth regulations and guidelines.

FIT4MOM Falls Church Vienna Fairfax FIT4MOM Falls Church Vienna Fairfax has gone all virtual! We offer fitness classes for moms and daily playgroup activities for kiddos. Our studio on Broad was supposed to open on March 11th but we will continue to offer virtual as long as we need to to serve our community of mothers.
