You are cordially invited to attend our weekly Rotary lunch meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 12:00 PM, at the Historic Post Office located at 90 N Maine St, Fallon, NV 89406. This week's distinguished speaker will be representing the Churchill County High School Grad Night. According to organizers, the committee has worked diligently since August to accumulate funds for a safe and sober graduation celebration for the class of 2026. The annual event features charter bus transportation to the Coconut Bowl in Reno, where graduates enjoy exclusive access to the facility for an all-night celebration. The Coconut Bowl, a premier entertainment center offering bowling, laser tag, arcade games, and other attractions, is a sought-after destination for group events and celebrations. The costs associated with the event encompass charter transportation, facility fees, and the cash and gift cards awarded to seniors as they embark on their post-graduation plans.

The Rotary Club of Fallon was a tail-wagging success as a sponsor last year! This fantastic event goes off without a hitch on May 16, 2026, starting at 7:30 AM at Rafter 3C Arena, 227 Sheckler Road, Fallon, Nevada.

Nevada Rural Counties Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) empowers seniors and others by providing well-trained volunteers who deliver lifesaving services.

The Rotary Club Fallon will be hosting its lunch meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 12:00 PM, located at Bites and Bottles (65 S Maine St, Fallon, NV 89406). This week's distinguished speaker will be the 4-H Club, who will be discussing the upcoming Junior Livestock Show & Sale. The 2026 Churchill County Junior Livestock Show & Sale is set to take place from April 23-25 at the Rafter 3C Arena. The Live Auction portion of the event will commence on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 12:00 pm.

Our distinguished guest speaker for this week will be Captain Michael 'Beads' Smith, USNR (Ret.), who will share the lessons he learned from serving as a Time Sensitive Targeting (TST) coordinator during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Captain Smith will also discuss how the mission-driven principles he employed in this role were successfully applied to large-scale disaster response initiatives in his role as Nevada's Emergency Preparedness Officer. A catered lunch will be served.

Rotary will NOT be hosting its weekly lunch meeting on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. But, Rotary will be hosting a fun event that day instead at the Speakeasy at the Cranberry Cottage at 5:30 pm. This event will be free and is complimentary from Rotarian Endo using the proceeds from the Rotary raffle- aka Stu's money!
