VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Fall is right around the corner, and Churchill County Parks & Recreation needs YOU!

We have some exciting events coming up this season, and we need community volunteers to help make them a success! From the No Hill 100 Century Bike Tour 🚴‍♀️ to the Scarecrow Factory 🎃, Haunted House 👻, Ugly Sweater 5K 🏃‍♀️, and Christmas at the Cottage 🎄—there are plenty of opportunities to get involved!

Whether you can give us a few hours or help with multiple events, every volunteer makes a difference!

This past weekend's Bike Safety course had a great turnout. Thank you from the Parks & Recreation Department and Financial Horizons Credit Union to all the First Responders, Battle Born Ice Cream, NDOT, and volunteers who made this event such a success. We’re shaking things up! Our Women’s Volleyball League is moving from the fall to a NEW SPRING SEASON for 2027!

Get your team ready for another season of competition, fun, and plenty of volleyball!

📅 February 23 – April 3, 2027
🏐 Tuesdays & Thursdays | 6–10 PM
📍 City/County Gym – 321 Venturacci Ln
💰 $240 per team
👥 6-on-6 | Max 10 players per team
🚨 Only 8 teams — first come, first served!

Don't forget about the free event going on at the Rafter 3C Arena parking lot. Bring your bike, scooter, or e-scooter. We've got free helmets (while supplies last) Sticker station and a course for the kids to ride once they completed the Saftey Course. There is also ice cream for the kids after they went for their ride! Battle Born Ice Cream
