Memorial Day Flowers Foundation Memorial Day Flowers Foundation is dedicated to honoring and thanking those that have served and their families.

The men and women that serve our country spend months or years away from loved ones, friends and family. Unfortunately, too many of them never return home. Remembering them, their sacrifice, and recognize those who have been left behind to carry on without them is what we do.

Thankful for the friendships that make this floral community so special. 🇺🇸🌷

Today is National Flower Day! Before it was called Memorial Day, Americans honored the fallen with flowers.

They called it Decoration Day, a quiet tradition of placing blooms on the graves of those who gave their lives for our country.

On National Flower Day, we remember the deeper meaning flowers can carry.

A single bloom can speak for a grateful nation.

Every Memorial Day, thousands of volunteers continue this tradition at Cemeteries across the country, placing flowers, row by row, so that every hero is remembered.

Because remembrance can begin with something as simple, and powerful, as a flower 🌹

On St. Patrick’s Day, we celebrate Irish heritage around the world.

But woven into American history is a powerful story of courage and sacrifice.

During the Civil War, thousands of Irish immigrants formed the legendary Irish Brigade. Many had only just arrived in America, yet they chose to fight for a country they hoped would become their home.

They marched into battle carrying a green flag with a golden harp, a symbol of the land they left behind and the future they believed in.

Many never returned.

Today, their legacy lives on in the generations of Irish Americans who have continued to serve and defend this nation.

On this St. Patrick’s Day, we celebrate heritage and remember the courage of those who gave everything for the country they called home.

🇺🇸 What if one simple bouquet could honor a fallen hero — and strengthen a nonprofit in your own community? 🌺

Nonprofits can take part in a special Memorial Day tribute by sponsoring bouquets that will be placed on military graves this Memorial Day weekend.

Each $15 bouquet honors a fallen service member, and $5 goes directly back to the nonprofit organization selling them to support their mission.

A beautiful tribute.
A meaningful fundraiser.
A moment of remembrance that connects your community with its heroes.

Join us in honoring the fallen this Memorial Day.

Today, March 13th is National K9 Veteran’s Day

The story of America’s military working dogs began more than 80 years ago.

After the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941, Americans across the country were asked to donate their dogs to serve in the war effort through a program called “Dogs for Defense.”

Families said goodbye to beloved pets so they could be trained to serve alongside U.S. troops.

These dogs became sentries, scouts, messengers, and lifesavers, detecting danger and protecting soldiers on battlefields around the world.

Many never returned home.

But the bond they formed with their handlers became legendary, built on trust, loyalty, and courage in the face of danger.

Today, military working dogs continue to serve with honor beside American service members.

On K9 Veterans Day, we remember where their story began and we honor every four-legged hero who has served our country. 🐾

On International Women’s Day, we honor women who have always stood behind, beside, and among those who serve.

From the Civil War:
Clara Barton, Dorothea Dix, Mary Ann Bickerdyke, Harriet Tubman, and Ann Bradford Stokes cared for soldiers, tended graves, and held communities together.

In World War II, Rosie the Riveter inspired millions, while the WAVES, Women’s Army Corps, and Women Airforce Service Pilots served in uniform.

Today, women continue to serve in every branch of our military

Their courage. Their endurance. Their impact — unWAVEring

Before it was Memorial Day, it was called Decoration Day, a time when communities gathered to place flowers on the graves of fallen soldiers.

Not for attention.
Not for recognition.
But for remembrance.

That tradition continues because people choose to carry it forward.

We are preparing now.

If you would like to help us continue this legacy, we welcome you

On May 30th 1868, thousands gathered at Arlington National Cemetery for the first national Decoration Day.

Children carried flowers.
Veterans removed their hats.
Graves were covered in blossoms.

For a moment, a fractured nation stood still.

Every time we lay a flower on a grave,
we are finishing what they began.

We are keeping the promise.
