Calling all artists! Learn more about our brand-new, eco-friendly art show where we feature works made from at least 60% reclaimed, recycled, or reused materials. We're thrilled to have Renée Richetts, San Diego County Arts and Culture Commissioner, as our curator.

Curator’s statement: "I don’t remember ever not using recycled, re-used and repurposed materials to create 3-D art. I just didn’t have the ecological context for it until the 60’s when I read Rachel Carson’s The Sea Around Us.

Fast forward to now, and I am still motivated by making thoughtful, weird, calming 3-D art from what many would call useless stuff. I’m also very directly mindful of keeping our oceans clean, the landfill not so full, and our air breathable. Reduce, reuse, recycle is my lifestyle.

May it be yours, too."

Read more about her background and vision for this show, our prospectus, and entry form on our website (https://www.fallbrookartcenter.org/sustainablecreations).

Entry deadline is March 16, 11:59:59PM PST.
