The Boys & Girls Club of Fallbrook Foundation held a strategic planning meeting on August 18, 2022. Local community leaders agreed on a new mission statement, "Raise funds to enable young people to reach their full potential through supporting the Boys & Girls Club of North County."

Phil Delaney of The Boys & Girls Club of Fallbrook Foundation is handing a check for $36,000 to Allison Barclays CEO of the Boys and Girls Club of North County for its annual Endowment Distribution from the Foundation to the Club. The Foundation has two funds to support the Club, The Jon Stromsoe Endowment Fund and a Discretionary Fund. The BGCNC is a mainstay for the youth of Fallbrook with over 2,000 members and weekly attendance of over 700 helping students with homework, nutrition, arts and crafts, sports, music, and many other programs to support the youth of Fallbrook. The Foundation is dedicated to building up an Endowment that hopefully someday will support the annual expenses of the club.

Mike & Cindy Stromsoe also announced a new $10,000 donation to the Jon Stromsoe Endowment Fund of the BGCFF.

Our Board members, Becky Schmad, Chris Bouse, Mike Stromsoe present Allison Barclay, C.E.O of the Boys and Girls Club of North County with a check for $25,000 as a combined annual distribution and donation towards the "Wine Whiskey & Wedges Fundraiser, 2021".

As we step into the first full year (and hopefully the last) of a world living with COVID, we are reminded that life does go on. And children continue to thrive, despite changes and restrictions. The Boys & Girls Club of North County is committed to keep some kind of 'normalcy' for the children of our community. The Boys & Girls Club of Fallbrook Foundation helps to support those goals with donations from our dedicated donors. We invite you to become part of those that hold our children dear to our hearts by donating to the Foundation. A single donation, monthly, or a long-term commitment, with the legacy created by your family with an endowment. Be that Helper to our next generation.

The kids in Fallbrook have had a very stressful year as well as adults here in our Friendly Village. Some are coping well some are not. We must step up with They could use our help in normal times but especially in these times. We must step up with help both monetary as well as moral support. It’s our duty to make sure our next generation is prepared to assume the passing of the torch. They will be the leaders that we look to in our future. We must make sure of the foundation that we leave for them to ascend to is a lasting and sturdy one. Please do the best to help our community to build this base for all our futures. These bright and eager children - most who already have a lot on their young plates - will be the best chance we have to move us all along in our futures.
