When you shop at the Farmers Market, you’re buying directly from local farmers, which means you can enjoy fresh products, support local agriculture, and bring home food that hasn’t traveled miles to reach your table.

At the Fall River Farmers Market, you’re buying directly from local farmers, which can mean better value, fresher products that last longer, and food that hasn’t traveled miles to get to your table.

Supporting the market also helps keep local farmers and small businesses going, so fresh food stays accessible right here in our community.

The market is open to everyone; whether you’re paying with cash, card, or EBT.

Here’s how HIP helps stretch your budget:
When you use your EBT card to buy fruits and vegetables from local farmers, HIP puts that money back on your card, dollar for dollar, until you reach your monthly limit:

$40/month for households of 1–2
$60/month for households of 3–5
$80/month for households of 6+

👉 All SNAP recipients are automatically enrolled so no sign-up needed
👉 You only need $0.01 in SNAP benefits on your card to use it

Once you hit your monthly limit, the benefit pauses until the next month but up to that point, you’re getting those purchases back on your card automatically.

For families, that means more fresh food at home and supporting healthier growth, better energy, and stronger lifelong eating habits for kids.

⚠️ RECALL ALERT ⚠️

Target has issued a voluntary recall of certain Up & Up Fragrance Free and Fresh Cucumber Scented Baby Wipes due to potential microbial contamination. FDA testing identified the presence of *Burkholderia cepacia* complex and *Burkholderia gladioli*, bacteria that may cause serious infections, particularly in newborns, infants, young children, and individuals with weakened immune systems.

If you have purchased these products:
✅ Stop using them immediately
✅ Check packaging for affected lot codes and expiration dates
✅ Return recalled products to any Target store for a full refund

Consumers have reported product discoloration, skin irritation, eye irritation, and infections potentially associated with use of the wipes. These reports remain under investigation.

Please share this information with families, caregivers, and anyone who may have these products at home.
