Celebrating the SWAG of Two Extraordinary Women
Today, we are honored to recognize two remarkable members of our FiA South Coast family whose accomplishments remind us what dedication, perseverance, and excellence look like in action.
First, congratulations to Maria Escobar, who has achieved the extraordinary distinction of being promoted from Senior Master Sergeant to Chief Master Sergeant—the highest enlisted rank in the United States Air Force. This prestigious honor is attained by only about one percent of enlisted service members, making it a truly exceptional accomplishment.
Maria’s promotion reflects not only her outstanding leadership and commitment to service, but also the character, integrity, and determination she brings to every aspect of her life. Whether serving her country, supporting her family, or being a trusted friend, Maria exemplifies excellence. We are incredibly proud to watch her step into this new chapter of leadership and impact.
As Maria prepares for her next adventure and a move closer to Hanscom Air Force Base, she was supported by another powerhouse woman from our community, Tabitha Gendreau.
After an impressive 29 years of service with the Massachusetts Air Force Guard, Tabitha is now embarking on a new mission in the real estate industry. Her transition has been nothing short of inspiring. Recently nominated for the prestigious Deborah Sampson Award, one of the highest honors bestowed upon veterans in Massachusetts, Tabitha continues to demonstrate the same excellence and drive that defined her military career.
And in true Tabitha fashion, she is already making waves in her new profession. Within just one week of listing her very first home—Maria’s beautiful residence—the property went under contract! What an incredible start to this exciting new journey.
Together, Maria and Tabitha represent the very best of what FiA stands for: courage, leadership, resilience, service, and sisterhood. They have each spent decades breaking barriers, lifting others up, and leading by example. Now, as they step into these exciting new chapters, we celebrate not only their achievements but also the inspiration they provide to all of us.
