Our fundraiser for Dale Quick, our local veteran who had a portion of his right lung removed, needs our help. We will be in China Grove this Saturday with BBQ sandwiches, music and vendors raising money to help our veteran get by while out of work recovering from lung surgery. Please stop by 11-4 and help us help him. Its our turn to be the hero

Alvarez House in partnership with Grove Cartel Brewing will be hosting a fundraiser February 12th for a local China Grove Army veteran, who is a recent amputee. Paps Lowder who alot of you may know, lives in a camper in China Grove. He's not able to maneuver his small camper with one leg, we've decided to buy him a new one, but we need everyone's help. Our fundraiser will run all day Grove Cartel has committed to donating 20% of the days total sales to our cause, 50/50 raffle, silent auction and live music. Our silent auction items will be displayed on the bar at Grove Cartel beginning the weekend prior to our event in order to give everyone ample time to go in and see what our local businesses have donated to our much loved and appreciated Army veteran.
ALL proceeds this day will go towards Paps new home

Ya'll we're had a blast. We fed at minimum 70 people tonight , a huge THANK you to all my volunteers, you made my job almost effortless. Now to work on food for Christmas 🎄

We'll be feeding our unhoused friends in Salisbury, this coming Thursday at 4pm Speedway gas station is allowing us to use the back parking lot. We still need coats and blankets if anyone has any to donate. Also if you can spare we always like to have desert too, if you have something quick and easy feel free to bring it
